About Me
I was finishing up my bachelor's degree in Psychology from a hospital bed. I had Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After finishing my cancer treatment, I enrolled in a Master's of Science program in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University Dominguez Hills. I graduated in 2019. Since then I have been working on my clinical hours doing psychotherapy with cancer patients/chronic illness and their loved ones. Recently, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Those going through cancer treatment or those suffering from chronic illness are important to me and I am here to listen because I understand. No one truly understands until they have lived with cancer or a chronic illness. The anxiety and depression can be consuming and hard to escape. In therapy we can work together to find what works for you to stop the anxiety, begin to smile and feel almost back to normal.
